Jonathan Carey

Jon formerly served as Program Director for Revolution Prep, in which he coordinated on-campus SAT/ACT programs at local public and private high schools and designed course materials. He also spoke at high school “Scoreback Nights” to explain students’ test scores and score breakdowns. Jon can pinpoint students’ curriculum gaps in students’ math and science and train them to work smarter, not harder, thinking strategically and methodically to maximize scores.

He earned his Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Cal State Fullerton University, following his Bachelor’s with Honors in Psychology. Before joining the AR team, Jonathan worked as a premier level instructor at a multitude of private companies, including Merieducation, and even continues to teach math at the college level at Irvine Valley College. He’s helped students conquer their fears of everything from the most basic of math skills to some of the weirdest concepts you’ve ever seen – and he’s prides himself in getting his students to have fun along the way. Jon’s psychology has proven invaluable to him in the classroom. He knows what it takes to inspire and motivate his students to push beyond their limitations and he always shows that he believes in his their abilities – even when they don’t!
